THE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS ULTRA TRAIL RUN - SA's Sweetest Trail Run!
The PINEAPPLE EXPRESS is the Official KZN South Coast Ultra Trail Run which gives our Trail Runners new adventures and challenges mixed in with magical encounters along the beautiful coastline, all the time while chasing the Tide.
The event is broken up into 3 achievable running distances, which gives the opportunity for professionals, weekend warriors and novices to all experience this epic South Coast run and be part of the action.
The main race starts at Port Shepstone and hugs the beautiful Coastline, with runners challenging themselves on sandy beaches, rocky outcrops, indigenous bush trails and some small river crossings.
The PINEAPPLE EXPRESS offers Trail runners 3 entry options: 50km EXPRESS, 30km RUSH, 12km FLASH, which all finish at the beautiful Wild Coast Sun Hotel.
You can enter the PINEAPPLE EXPRESS as an Individual or with a Group Booking option, where a group of 8 or more runners get a 10% discount on their entries. Entries are limited to 150 competitors per distance and only available online.
All Competitors get an unbelievably COOL LOADED Goodie Bag as well as loads more extras. Entries open on the 21st of September and close when full.
All 50km Runners get a Race T-shirt included with their entry + Plus other goodies, but you have to enter before the 14th March, as we close T-shirt orders on the 14th for production. All 50km runners who enter after the 14th will still get other great goodies in their goodie bag!

TRANSPORT TO THE START
We have secured Margate Coach as the official Transport Provider to the 2022 Pineapple Express Trail Run for those needing transport to the start. There will be a 15 seater going from the Wild Coast Sun at 5am to Port Shepstone for the 50km Run and then a 13 Seater going from the Wild Coast Sun at 6am to Ramsgate and Glenmore for the 30km and 12km Runs.
The costs per person are: R180.00 to Port Shepstone (50km) and R160.00 for the 30km and 12km Runners. You can add this cost to your online entry and secure your place, as they are limited.
