2023 TINMAN JOBURG SERIES
The FINAL RACE OF THE 2023 Joburg TINMAN Series takes place at CRADLE MOON!
This FINAL and last race of the 2023 series will take place at Cradle Moon on the 03rd of December.
It will be the END OF YEAR PARTY RACE race, so dress up, get funky and lets have some fun! There will be a festive spirit in the air with prizes for best and worst dressed!
Come and join us in 2023 for the fun, energy filled multisport Series. Make sure you bring the whole family for an epic day of fun in the sun!
The TinMan series is the oldest running triathlon series in South Africa, having started in Durban in 1999. Now a national Series, with events in Joburg, the Cape and KZN, this is one Series you can’t miss out on. The National Tinman Series is a popular family orientated series that includes 3 Triathlon events on the day as well as a 10km running race and a Duathlon (Run / Cycle / Run)

- 10km Run (12yrs up)
- Mini Tri (200m Swim / 5km Cycle / 2.5km Run) 8yrs up.
- Sprint Tri (600m Swim / 20km Cycle / 5km Run) 15yrs up.
- Sprint RELAY TEAM (600m Swim / 20km Cycle / 5km Run)
- Challenge Tri (1.2km Swim / 30km Cycle / 10km Run) 17yrs up.
- Challenge RELAY TEAM (1.2km Swim / 30km Cycle / 10km Run) - 3.5hr cut off
Registration Venue: Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge
Registration Times:
- 10km Run Challenge Duathlon & Challenge Tri: 5:45am to 7am
- Sprint Tri: 6:30am to 7:30am
- Mini Tri: 6:30am to 7:30am
Bike Racking will be at the same time as registration. Once you register, you enter the transition directly from registration - secure area.
START TIMES:
- 7am: Challenge Triathlon
- 7:40am: Sprint Triathlon
- 8:15am: Mini Triathlon
Entry Fees:
- Mini Tri: R300.00
- Sprint Tri: R530.00
- Sprint Relay Team of 2: R275.00 (pp.) / of 3: R190.00 (p.p.)
- Challenge Tri: R650.00
- Challenge Relay Team of 2 R340.00 (pp.) / of 3: R230.00 (p.p.)
Also included is an awesome safe fun family event, Finishers medals or similar and an ice cold aQuelle as well as Lucky draw prizes and Winners prizes.
CYCLING will be on the road
RUNNING will be Offroad on Gravel roads.
Road Bikes and MTB Bikes only allowed. (Draft legal event)
ENTRIES CLOSE THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT BEFORE EACH EVENT.
