2024 TINMAN KZN SERIES - 25 years old
The TinMan Series is perfect for those who like to keep moving and it’s the oldest & biggest family Tri-Series in South Africa. The series was started in 1999 and has become very popular nationally and a household name to many athletes. It is a fun, family orientated series that includes multiple events during a calendar year, all of them taking place at the same venue, utilising full road closure and flat running routes.
The Tinman Series is a popular family orientated series that includes 3 Triathlon distances on the day as well as a 10km running race and a duathlon.

Registration Venue: Suncoast Sundeck, Durban
Registration Times (Race Day at Race Venue): 5:45am to 7:30am.
START TIMES:
- 6:50am: 10km Run & Challenge Triathlon (Ushaka)
- 7:40am: Sprint Triathlon (Ushaka) & Sprint Duathlon (Suncoast)
- 8:15am: Mini Triathlon (Ushaka)
CYCLING will be on the road | RUNNING will be on the promenade | Road Bikes and MTB Bikes only allowed. (Draft legal event) NO Tri Bikes.
ENTRIES CLOSE THE THURSDAY AT MIDNIGHT BEFORE EACH EVENT.

Competitors are responsible to know the race routes and the number of laps required per event competing in, it is their responsibility to manage this while racing. Marshals and Race officials will not be able to assist or be help liable. Marshals and officials are there to keep you on the race route and direct you.
Very Important information:
- FINAL Race Instructions will be emailed on the Friday morning before each event to the email address associated with your Entry Ninja account.
- This event is DRAFT LEGAL. NO tri Bikes.
- Competitors are responsible to know the race routes and the number of laps required per event they are competing in.
- Relay Team entries are allowed for the Sprint and Challenge distance
- All competitors will receive and ice-cold aQuellé at the finish line and a finishers keyring or medal at the finish.
- There will be a prize giving and lucky draw prizes.
- Due to the ever-growing pollution of our planet, our race numbers are recycled and reused. Please remember to hand them in at the finish line to receive your medal.
